Oyster and yum fried 80 ฿ (Aug 2026) NO English menu, only Thai. On the wall. I couldn’t understand and nice ladies couldn’t speak English so I just point and pray for best. It came a plate of fried starch with yam cubes and egg and oyster on top. And a smaller bowl of fresh bean sprout. It is much different from the stir fry oyster at home. And it is quite dry, I don’t know if I should put chili on my own but she did asked me if I wanted spicy. The good thing is they are cook to order so it comes in warm and fresh. I can only say I wish it would be a little bit more liquidy as I find it dry to taste. Maybe I didn’t eat it right. And another good thing is it is not oily. So maybe it is for the best.
Had the signature Oyster dish with yam, nice but not outstanding. Had a Prawn pad thai too, looked great, however overly sweet that took away the pleasantries. Indeed it is more a shelter street food restaurant with a lack of circulating air fans. Priced to suit everyone.
Came here for supper. It was good. A bit different from Singapore style oh Jian though but still nice. We had a pad krapao from the stall next to it which nobody ever talk about. It was fantastic
Cheap and delicious hole in the wall serving pad Thai and fried seafood dishes including the "otao" their store is named after, a delicious regional take on hoi tod infused with taro paste. They deep fry the fried orders one plate at a time, so be prepared for a wait if they are busy.
No long review needed. If you’re chasing real local flavors, pull up here. It’s bold enough to surprise even Thai locals.
