100 ฿ for 2 crispy roti on 2 sunny side eggs, and Masamum beef curry. (2026 Aug) No wait today on a weekday, came around 10am. The few days later I saw some queue but it moves quickly. Only operate morning till noon. So come early. I guess no one will escape roti canai, I didn’t know in Phuket it has become a tourist thing and even get Michelin about it. (I mean in Penang it is everywhere and we take it for granted) The roti size is much smaller than home, about size of my palm, and very crispy. I also enjoy the 2 fried eggs because the running yolk is serves like a dipping sauce and also adding the protein to the heavy carb roti. I also get the beef curry and came in some good amount of chunks, and very tender beef, the taste is a lot sweeter and much less spicy to my taste, I was talking to another Malaysian Indian customer and we both agreed they might have altered the taste to suits tourist. Then again I wouldn’t be sure. None the less, they are a delicious meal, holds up long as I had the eggs and beef which really hold. Definitely worth its fame, and no AC, less fancy environment might set some people off, yet it is this kind of establishment that made good humble food, I love it. 5 stars for keeping this up!
Went here as part of my food tour and it will really throw you off if it is your first or second leg. Definitely need to space out this restaurant from the next because the breads will hold you over for a while. This place is a little tight, but the roti is soft, oily, buttery and enjoyable and most importantly FRESH. Also had some curry dishes, but as a person who makes curry frequently, it was a bit too watery for my liking. I understand this is cultural, so it's just preference. The curry chicken had the best sauce. The coffee had the most sugar I had in any drink of my life so that was a job to finish that. Worth visiting as a tourist.
Best value breakfast. I've been here twice in a row. If you're looking for a local favorite, this is the place to go. Even if you come alone, if there's no seating, you can join a table. (I visited on January 22nd and 23rd, 2026)
Great food, rich and smooth gravy, meat is tender and tasty to have. We kept on praising it on every bite. It is and Michelin star and it owns it. Do visit place. If in Thailand. Located in old phuket town.
