Niyom Salt Grilled Duck

The best duck in Phuket! 😍 Absolutely delicious, and the food is prepared very quickly. We could barely find a table because the place was completely packed. Now I understand why! Definitely recommend it. 10/10!

Such an amazing spot - one of the best in Phuket! Really simple, grilled ducks, som tam, sticky rice & beers - and you don’t need anything else. We sat on a big wooden outside table in the trees, sharing 2 duck with our group. It was great thank you!!

This place has its own distinct vibe and I actually love it! Make sure to arrive early—they sell out quickly. I got there at 4:45 pm and missed out on the ruby fish and chicken (I wanted to try everything). The duck, though—OMG! I'll be back in Thailand sooner than I thought, and it'll be just for this duck. It's so juicy, fatty, and succulent, and the sauces aren't overpowering—they're a perfect addition. I believe that the coals and salt are the only flavour enhancements - it is really pure and perfect. I can’t even comprehend how good the duck was—it’s really, I believe, impossible to cook duck better. I also tried their som tam, and it was very good, but not as spicy as I expected—maybe they thought I couldn't handle the heat (but I can, I promise!). Highly recommend if you're craving real Thai flavors in a cozy spot. 5/5

Just by the smell.. You know that it will be delicious. We waited an hour to get our duck but it was worth it. The skin was crispy and the duck tender. The sauces were also perfect! I would suggest eating their papaya salad for the wait

Today we ordered som tam (papaya salad) and the salt-roasted duck * The som tam was bold and well-balanced—perfect mix of sour, sweet, salty, and spicy, with an authentic southern Thai touch * The duck had crispy skin, tender and juicy meat, and paired perfectly with the two dipping sauces—absolutely delicious The atmosphere is simple and local, but clean and comfortable. Service is quick, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. If you’re in Phuket and looking for authentic local flavors with a standout signature dish, this place is a must-visit 👍
