Must must visit place on Sundays... the street food displayed are huge..u cannot cover all the stalls in 1 day..its definitely a vibe to be there. Nice food stalls, accessories, handmade items and souvenirs. Do try the bbq skewers, mango sticky rice, hey mango smoothie. There are some local artists to performing. Definitely a delight to watch them perform.
It’s a night market open during Sunday evening only. Great range of food to try and choose from, stretching from one end of the street to another. Since they just cross sections of the road to put up the stalls, don’t expect to find lots of places to sit down on, unless you eat inside a shophouse. Most of the foods are easy to eat while standing up/walking, so no need to worry so much about not finding a chair. Expect lots of crowd during your visit, which adds charm to this bustling night market. It’s definitely a must visit if you’re in Old Town during the weekend!
Absolutely loved the vibe at Phuket Old Town Night Market! Great mix of street food, local shopping, and lively atmosphere. Good place to buy souvenirs at bulk. The colorful streets and music make it a fun place to just walk around and explore. Food options are plenty and reasonably priced. It does get quite crowded, especially later in the evening, but that’s part of the charm. We went with a baby but wasn't much if a hustle. Although it's far from the beach area, it's worth a visit .Overall, a vibrant and enjoyable night market experience — definitely worth visiting if you are staying in phuket.
I have been to alot of markets all around Thailand and this is one of the better one. The quality of the food offered here is extremly good and the street singers/performer makes the atmosphere topp notch. All this while walking around the beautiful Phuket old town. Truly a experience you dont wanna miss out on.
Did not live up to the hype. Very crowded and hot. Hardly any room to walk around and I’m from India lol. Would rather recommend Chillva market which has most of the stuff that you can find here if you don’t care about the stupid viral drinks/food.
