I really enjoyed my visit! The savory local mungbean porridge was delicious and quite satisfying
I love it here! We stumbled upon this place and just had to try what was being offered - end result? It's sooooo good we came back for more! It's a savoury porridge where you can choose either the black rice / mung beans version, with added tofu and other condiments. While waiting, there were lotsaa locals waiting in their scooters for takeaway too. The lady serving us was lovely and friendly too.Highly recommended for the true Hanoi street food experience!!!
The congee tastes wonderful. It reminds me of the breakfasts I had as a child. It’s not overly salty or bland, nor does it rely on any punchy, artificial flavours. The taste is simply just right.
Food stall at the street corner; there are a bunch of chairs, no tables. They offer cold bean and rice porridge with various toppings. The porridge is pretty simple but very delicious in combination with the salty toppings. I chose the vegan version without egg. One of the best fried tofu I've ever had! Highly recommend!
Their specialy is bean and rice porridge that comes with a variety of toppings such as fried tofu salted egg, salted Vietnamese eggplants and pickled vegetable. This is a simple, humble yet insanely delicious dish. The tofu are fried perfectly, crunchy exterior and soft pillowy center. The tofu was also marinated giving a really nice flavor. The porridge itself was good, light and the red or green bean give a very nutty note.
