Nothing special about this dish really. 🤨 I mean it's not bad at all but it's a kind of dish you eat once and yep that's it. Maybe suitable for a late night quick snack? They open pretty late a believe. I went there at 11pm.
The banh bot loc (pork and wood est mushroom dumplings) was average, with the sauce and peanuts tasting slightly old but decent portions. The dried beef salad was good, with decent amount of sauce and various cuts and types of dried beef. Cold beers served as well, good atmosphere with fun street seating.
I was just walking past this shop and had an incredibly unsafe and violating experience. A waiter and a man in a long-sleeve shirt (I’m not sure who he was, but the waiter was talking to him and laughing at what he was doing) began speaking to us in Vietnamese. They quickly became inappropriately touchy, actually sliding their fingers down our arms. Even though I don’t speak Vietnamese, I immediately showed how angry I was, but they just laughed at us. I felt so violated and uncomfortable that I decided to go back and take photos of these two men so I could warn others and help you avoid the same experience. Please stay away from this place, your safety is not worth it.
Definitely a place that caters to tourists. The food is alright but nothing special. There are no prices on the menus which is always a bad sign. We ended up paying 210k for a Saigon beer & a lemon tea, the dumplings, fried chicken (there was no cheese as the name suggested) and the papaya salad.
Decent spot for a quick bite to eat. Place gets very busy during peak hours with tourists and locals. Food was quick to come out and tasty. I tried the quail which had good flavor but can be a little tricky to eat. Recommend this place if you are looking for a quick food option where you can be apart of the street life.
