This is a SUPER local experience and not for those who are particular about cleanliness and heat. It is very unclean; there is trash everywhere, people throw tissues and bones onto the ground, it is super warm and requires you to sit on tiny chairs and then bend over to eat on a make-shift table that is also the chair. If you can't look past all these, then it is not advisable for you to come. BUT if you can and want a local experience and popular supper spot (they open till 3am and is located right outside the entrance of Dong Xuan market - they were VERY crowded), they offer a rich, pasty porridge that is unique and unlike any other in the world that I have tasted. It was unforgettable. The grilled pork skewers were also delightful and flavourful, highly recommend that you get some to try (just the right amount of savoury and sweet). After our dinner, we even got more to take away and continue enjoying in our hotel. Never had pasty porridge before that was also yummy besides being different. Recommend that you give this a try! The soya bean is also pretty good. Just make sure to wave to get their attention - they speak limited English but thankfully the menu is limited too so you won't have much troubles ordering. Bring cash!

Cameron Friday night about 2200hrs, crowded with locals. Managed to find seating - low chairs! Ordered a set of porridge with fried fritters. Paid D50k Porridge was boiled to a very fine texture like starch. Very fragrant and tasty. With minced pork and pork ribs (soft bones). Perfect supper meal!

After a long day trip where our past meal was 7 hrs before, our group of 7 thoroughly enjoyed this meal. These were amazing pork skewers, and the pork congee was delicious too. It was not like rice porridge I've had before. It was mixed so much that it was like a pudding, and didn't have pieces of the rice anymore like other rice porridges I've had, just so you know. Would 100% get this meal again.

This is super delicious pork porridge. The porridge is grinded so smoothly just like baby food. I like it as it is tasty home food. The stall is right opposite the dong xuan market，easy to find. Just 40k for a set of porridge with fried bread.
