Visited last week. Plenty of food options here, from street carts to nice restaurants. Also can see beautiful sunset but the view from our dinner restaurant was blighted by some construction just offshore. Much development is going on here and in Phu Quoc overall. There were a couple of fireworks, a smaller one at 8pm and a larger one at 9.30pm. The boats offshore also put on lights at night.
Got some nice vegan options to buy such as instant congee, instant cup noodles, and a nice selection of kombucha.
My visit to the night market in Sunset Town was such a delightful experience. The food was delicious and unique, with a wide variety of local and modern options, all at affordable prices. I happened to be there during the 50th anniversary celebration of Sun Group, and was lucky to enjoy a 5-minute dance performance followed by an energetic 5-minute percussion show—a festive touch that made the night even more special. What I loved most was the relaxed atmosphere, perfect for hanging out with a beautiful view of the sea and anchored ships. This night market truly offers the perfect blend of food, entertainment, and scenery—definitely a must-visit spot in Sunset Town.
This so-called night market is actually just a large tourist street—it doesn’t resemble an authentic market at all. It’s purely a tourist attraction, with a high number of visitors and very repetitive items for sale. It’s fine for an evening stroll if you’re interested in grabbing a coconut for 25,000 Vietnamese dong, or perhaps some souvenirs or fruits, though expect prices to be inflated compared to local standards. Everything has a bit of a “touristy” feel to it. Still, if you want to walk around, have a snack, and take in the atmosphere, it’s decent enough for a one-time visit in the evening.
The night market of Sunset Town Phu Quoc has things for everyone , every age. We bought some crochet items for home , Good ice creams for family ,Peral jewellery for my women, and also souvenir shops are nice . Also, you can enjoy sunset Town Fireworks show , if you sit in the sea side resturants in the evening.
