Opening Hours
Why worth it

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5) Food: The flavor of the bánh canh is quite unique to me. It tastes better when eaten with chili satay—the spice really enhances the dish, as it can be a bit mild on its own. I recommend trying bánh canh bột lộn and bánh canh bột lọc. Price: Cheap for the quality. Atmosphere: Casual and simple. Staff: Nice and friendly. Service: Fast—food is served quickly. Overall: A dish that tourists should definitely try.
Bánh canh O Bướm in Hue, Vietnam, was unfortunately a disappointing experience. While we were excited to try this popular local dish, the visit fell short of expectations. The restaurant’s ambiance is simple, typical of a local eatery, but the food itself did not deliver. The bánh canh was bland and lacked the flavorful broth and fresh ingredients that typically make this dish a highlight of Hue’s cuisine. The noodles were overcooked, and the toppings didn’t add much to the overall taste, leaving the meal feeling uninspired. Unfortunately, after our visit, we experienced stomach discomfort, which suggests possible issues with food preparation or ingredient quality. Hygiene appeared to be a concern as well, with tables that were not particularly clean, and an overall lack of attention to cleanliness in the dining area. The service was average, but it did little to compensate for the quality of the meal. While Bánh canh O Bướm might have a loyal local following, our experience left us unsatisfied and feeling uneasy. At 2/5 stars, it’s hard to recommend this place to others, especially with so many better options for delicious, authentic bánh canh in Hue.
A great bowl of banh canh with amazing broth and noodles. Toppings might not be as much as expected but for the price you can't beat it. There are extra vietnamese ham and quail eggs if you want to add to your bowl for extra. Not sure. We just ate what was in the bowl. Highly recommended!
A really nice place for banh canh! The restaurant is quite clean and spacious, and the food was tasty. If you’re looking for a banh canh with a less fishy taste, this is definitely a good place for you. Overall, a simple but enjoyable experience!
