Bánh Mì Phượng probably doesn’t need another review, but I can see why it’s so popular. The bánh mì is delicious, flavourful and very reasonably priced. We ordered the mixed bánh mì and the BBQ pork bánh mì. Both were packed with flavour and lived up to the hype. After ordering, you’ll receive a receipt with a number. Just stay nearby and listen for your number to be called for collection. The process is simple and fuss-free. Even though there was a queue, it moved quickly and we didn’t have to wait long. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in Hoi An
✅️ The famous Anthony Bourdain spot ('a symphony in a sandwich,' 2009) has over 16k Google reviews and still living up to the hype. Got the Banh Mi Thap Cam (the special/mixed) with everything like pork, pâté, egg, the works, for 25-50k VND, worth the queue. Located in Hoi An, Da Nang and they are open from 630 am to 9pm. The staff keeps the short line moving fast. They even smoke the buns over charcoal for a signature flavor near the front entrance and you can watch the happy ladies making the sandwiches while you wait! ✅️ Please follow @bouncingplaces on YOUTUBE It helps support the channel so I can continue sharing amazing places like this to eat and fun adventures as I travel the world full time 🌎 🙏 Keep on Bouncing Baby 😎❤️👍💯
Absolutely incredible! I've eaten >20 bread spots in VN, Bami Phượng is on top. They have plenty of seating, including a huge second floor that fits about 100 guests. 20-30 min wait during rush hours, but you'll be happy the moment you take the 1st bite. I normally skip the bread crust, but here was so crispy & flavorful that I finished every single crumb. I can eat 2 at a time, will come back tomorrow with buddies🐰
I tried both Madam Khanh and this place, and now I totally get why everyone praises them so much. The baguette here was amazing—crispy on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside. Although it wasn't packed with fillings, the flavor balance was absolutely spot on, and the savory sauce and meat combination hit me right away. If I had to pick one, my vote goes to Banh Mi Phuong. Great food!
I had the pleasure of visiting this establishment twice during my trip and noticed that, despite its popularity, the service was impressively swift! - The banh mi and beverages were exceptionally tasty, and I can assure you that you won’t be dissapointed. - Although you might spot a line, do not let that deter you; they provide options for takeaway or indoor seating, and the wait time diminishes quickly. - The combination of affordability and quality makes this a must-try. I also visited the banh mi from Madam Khanh - The Banh Mi Queen and I can attest that both venues deliver equally gratifying experiences :)
