I have visited Hoi An many times, and this is always my go-to spot. The grilled meat is incredibly fresh, has a beautiful color, and tastes absolutely amazing. It comes with a generous serving of fresh herbs and greens. The restaurant is very clean and features a unique, giant 2-dollar bill on the wall. Plus, if it's your first time here, the owner will kindly show you the best way to wrap and eat everything neatly and perfectly. I really love this place! 😍
Co Thu BBQ is an absolute hidden gem! The food was incredible — every dish was packed with authentic flavor and cooked perfectly. What makes this place even more special is that they only have two items on the menu, and honestly, that’s all they need because they’ve absolutely perfected them. You can taste the care and consistency in every bite. You can really tell this is a family-owned restaurant that takes pride in what they serve. The owner was unbelievably friendly and welcoming, and every employee we interacted with was kind, attentive, and made us feel right at home. It’s the perfect lunch spot, especially since they’re open from 10am to 5pm. Fresh, delicious food, amazing service, and a warm family atmosphere — Co Thu BBQ is the kind of place you can’t wait to come back to!
We finally called in to the Co Thu Restaurant after walking past it many times and noting the aroma of the pork being BBQ'd out the front .Well what a wonderful choice it was, the food was absolutely delicious. The lady showed us how to roll the pork skewers in the rice paper with the herbs that come with the meal . You then dip them the bowl of peanut sauce provided. They are totally delicious. The service was excellent and the restaurant was spotless and clean . They close at 7pm so get there early. A family run Mum and Dad restaurant worth visiting.
Got recommended this place by my tailor and my spa therapist! They love this local place. So we came , saw and ate happily! Lovely owners who showed us how it’s being eaten! Highly recommended and saved to come back.
Its a classic for a reason. Great flavours and the old lady even shows you how to assemble each one. The sauce is incredible too and the veggies so good. This should be your top destination. price is also more than fair.
