This was so incredibly mid. Not much flavour, didn’t feel fresh. The only dish that seemed to be made to order was the white rose dumplings (these were okay). Staff were pleasant. But really the only good thing was that they sold big bottles of water. If you want flavoursome, Vietnamese food this unfortunately isn’t it. Would not return. Would not recommend.
Amazing place run by a local family. The ambience and food is incredible at a cheap price. The cao Lau is the highlight however the bún thịt nướng and white rose dumplings were super nice. Must try the panna cotta (strawberry), perfect sweet treat after your meal. They have an iced ‘herbal tea’ which is super nice and better than MOT. Great place and would definitely come back having eaten here twice and once 2 years ago. Open from 8am and super quiet before lunch time yet dinner can get very packed.
Cao Lầu Không Gian Xanh is a great place to enjoy authentic local Vietnamese cuisine at an affordable price. The food is delicious, freshly prepared, and offers excellent value for money. The portions are generous enough for one person, making it a satisfying meal without breaking the bank. If you’re looking for flavorful local dishes at budget-friendly prices, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.
Food was good, prices reasonable. Waitstaff spoke English well. We asked the staff to cut open our coconut (drink) and they kindly obliged, allowing us to eat the meat after finishing the drink.
This place is famous online for its Cao Lau and White Rose dumplings. I think it’s worth trying if it’s your first time in Hoi An, though it wasn't quite my cup of tea. The White Rose dumplings were a bit plain, but that might just be their style. As for the Cao Lau, the deep-fried crackers made the dish feel a bit too oily for my liking.
