fantastic place to grab some food and/or beer. Famous for the skewers on the street, especially the chicken satay. Plenty of options to choose from, Indian, Arabic, Chinese, Singaporean, etc. There's something for everyone. Good ventilation and plenty of tables but the place is always packed and noisy (it doesn't take away the enjoyment). A must to visit.

Nana Curry is a well-known local brand and seeing them open at Lau Pat Sat, I had to come try. Singapore is multiracial so there are many styles of curry chicken and if you’re local you will know got malay style, Indian style, Eurasian style and Chinese style which nana homemade curry is. They have quite a few outlets in Singapore where this brand is popular for because their curry taste is always consistent and never disappoint. I’ve always felt curry chicken is best eaten with French loaf, so it was a no brainer to go for the curry chicken served with 2 French loaves and prata (A3). They also offer a ramen option (A14), which I think might be new since I haven’t seen it at other outlets before. Using the same curry, the ramen actually worked surprisingly well where the noodles soaked up the gravy nicely and complemented the curry perfectly. I was initially worried the curry might be too spicy since I’m not a big chili eater, but it turned out to be just the right level of heat. The potatoes were soft and cooked perfectly, absorbing all the curry goodness. Right now there’s grand opening promo for their Peranakan chicken wings — 6 pieces for $6.90 till 26 April 2026 (usual price $9.90). Definitely worth it. The wings were very crispy, not dry, and tasted like a lighter, less salty version of prawn paste chicken. I even filmed a video because the texture was so satisfying. Overall I enjoyed my meal and they really deserve the Michelin Bib Gourmand which is pasted everywhere around their shop where they were awarded 10 years in a row!!! Will be back next time!

Went to Nana curry chicken. The food is nice especially their curry sauce is thick and flavourful. Their chicken meat and potato are tender and soft. Chap Chye was pretty good on the plate. Wings are awesome! Evening time, the crowd was alright, not so hot. Very nice to enjoy curry chicken.

Def a MUST VISIT!! Huge variety of food that you don’t know where to start!! You do have to hunt for a table but it’s so much fun with a big group. Food prices are very affordable and the food is delicious. There is something for everyone. Highly recommend the bbq meat and squid skewers. And the traditional rice with chicken and veges on the side. Variety of drink options. Such a vibe and great experience.
