I like the briyani rice. The meat is not so hard so can be chewed quite easily, though maybe a bit tough for older people. Spices are spot on and portion is ok for me. Prices also reasonable. Recommend this for halal options near old town Phuket
Good option for halal food. Friendly workers. A little bit pricey. Total 190baht for menu ordered. Expected cheaper due to the location.
We were in the area and stopped by for roti (โรตี) and curry (แกงกะหรี่). The curry here (we tried goat and beef) was great. The curry was well-balanced, with just the right amount of spice and sweetness. If you order a curry and roti set, ask for a fried egg on top. The fried egg with its runny yolk went very well with the spices of the curry. We had multiple plates of roti. They were so good dipping into the curry. Thai iced tea (ชาชักเย็น) here was lightly sweet, so if you like it sweeter, you will have to ask for more condensed milk. The banana roti was delicious, a nice ending to the meal. Parking is not easy to find. The restaurant does have one small AC in the back but it is mainly open-aired.
WHAT A GEM!!!! LOOOVEEDD THE PANDAN ROTI WITH CUSTARD!!!! You have to try it, it’s pandan roti, fried until warm and slightly crispy, topped with sweet phuket custard!!! The roti itself is filled with sangkhaya, pandan custard, then sweet custard is spread on top to balance the slightly salty roti. This is a flavor bomb & got me making sangkhaya when i got home HAHAHHAHAHA This dish altered my brain chemistry and my tastebuds will forever thank this place for the experience!!
The food was very mid, maybe white people like it because they don’t know different flavours and they eat at mostly touristy places. I saw a lot of tour guides here with people so hence the review. The beef curry was pathetic because one tiny small piece of beef. I have had this dish here and it’s really good elsewhere But definitely the drinks were unique
