The attention was amazing, the lady always smiling and I asked for extra chicken and she put a lot more! The extra was 20BHT (0.7-0.9$) and the food was amazing. 1 Egg, 1 Fried Rice and a Water for 120BHT! Good quality and cooked instantly
Proper thai restaurant serving 👌 serving authentic thai food and very well priced. We will definitely go back when we in Naiharn beach again.
I’ve been coming to Cheap Ass Restaurant since 2018, and it’s hands down one of my favorite local places in Thailand. The food is always delicious, freshly cooked, and very affordable. I’ve tried almost everything over the years — and never once was disappointed. It’s a family-run spot with a warm, friendly vibe. The owner Tar, her daughter Sai, and other family members make you feel welcome every time. Nothing fancy — just clean, honest, tasty Thai food made with heart. Highly recommend this place if you want a true local experience.
The food was really tasteful and authentic. I have eaten here two times and both times where good. Second time was a longer waiting time but was worth it. The prices are cheap, around 100-200 baht per portion. If you are very hungry though you probably need two portion. But it is still worth it. I recommend this place. They also make fresh juices and smoothies. The place is small and cozy and the stuff are friendly.
Cheap Ass Restaurant is located right along the main road toward Rawai and is easy to spot if you’re passing by. The service is good, and the staff working there are friendly and welcoming, which creates a pleasant first impression. When it comes to the food, the experience was mixed. The Pad Thai I tried was unfortunately one of the worst I had during my entire trip to Thailand. The other dishes were okay, but nothing really stood out or left a strong impression. The restaurant itself has an authentic Thai vibe and looks the part, but in my opinion, the food does not quite live up to that standard.
