Absolutely delicious Banh Xeo crispy pancakes. Our tour guide recommended this place and we loved it. He showed us how to build up the roll and dipping it into the sauce!! We also tried the dough sticks too!!
Aussie traveler! I got a hot tip, Sooooo bloody good! First Banh Xeo and hands down would be hard to top! Amazing, delicious, authentic and gut safe street food! You won’t regret eating here.
on the menu (pic) I just pick one for each, total 50k VND (2025) The banh Xeo is pre-cooked instead of cook to order so it comes with cold and oily. (Reduct 2 stars immediately!) Later I watched a local lady came to dine and hers are freshly made, steamy and looking yummy. So I feel a little imbalance here. The Ha Cao and Quay also ready food, if it is heated before serve I believe I will enjoy a little more. But it wasn’t. So the only king is the sauce, which serves everything and I can gnaw into my mouth with a little ease. I did not have a good experience in this shop. Despite I saw so many good reviews here. So I guess I am just unlucky at that time. Banh Xeo being one of the great find in Hanoi this round, has left me with a hallow emptiness with this one. A meal is still a meal, I appreciate the affordable pricing. Just hope I could get a better experience out of it.
The cake is still thin and crispy as before, but this time it's eaten or quickly gets bored for some reason. However, this is still the best Banh xeo in Ha Noi
This was my first stop in Hanoi after checking into my hotel. The restaurant was full by the time I got there, but I was hungry after my long flight and was really excited to try the banh xeo from here, so I didn’t mind waiting. Unfortunately, as I waited in line, a street food tour of about 10-12 people arrived and they immediately took all the seats inside (around 3:30pm on a Sunday). Then, the owners of the shop let locals behind me cut the line to take the next table despite them knowing I had been patiently waiting. It was a bit of a bummer, but what can I do? I was finally seated and I’m so glad I waited because I loved the banh xeo. The pancake was crispy and I loved the combo of mushroom, pork, and bean sprouts inside. At only $20K VND, this meal was a steal. Would come back again despite the wait! (They also accept QR code here - if you’re a foreigner, you can load money onto the Moreta App and pay via QR code like a local.)
