Bánh Xèo Bà Dưỡng

The bánh xèo is easy to make, but thats not why people are there. everyone comes because of the sauce, and you can get a refill on it. Ive been here more times than i can count (before they got famous), the food is great, prices are a bit on the higher end for banh xeo, but what do you expect? Its a Michelin recommended place now. The parking and getting into it can be horrendous, if you go on a busy day, be prepapred to wait, or go and find your own table like i always do. Some employees are good, some crack under pressure, depending on who youre dealing with. Good luck with that. We always get the classics, banh xeo and nem, good for 2. The SAUCE IS AMAZING, i need to learn how to make the sauce so i dont have to come to DN for it.

I’m not sure what else I can add that hasn’t already been said in all the reviews, but here are my thoughts. We’ve eaten plenty of bánh xèo during our month-plus stay in Da Nang and were curious to see if this place really lived up to the hype, especially since you can find bánh xèo much cheaper away from the tourist areas. I have to admit — it was genuinely delicious. We visited twice, and both times the restaurant was mostly filled with locals rather than just tourists or “influencers,” which is always a good sign. The bánh xèo was full of flavour, and we also ordered the grilled beef and skewers. The grilled beef was juicy, tender, and packed with flavour — we actually preferred it over the skewers. The warm dipping sauce was a highlight; it’s more like a rich gravy than a traditional peanut sauce and contains ingredients like liver, which gives it a unique depth and richness. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Da Nang.

It took us long enough to come here and try the Banh Xeo. We ordered three items out of the four that were on the menu. Banh Xeo is what they're known for, and it's really good. Crunchy and filled with pork, shrimp and bean sprouts. Nem Lui, meat on a stick is very tasty and I highly suggest you order some of these. They come in orders of 5, 10 or more so if you're by yourself or in a small party, you can still enjoy them. Grilled meat with la lot leaves was my favorite. So flavorful yet tender. I don't think you should miss out on this. Absolutely tasty and I can't wait to come back again. TBH, I think I might even skip the Banh Xeo next time and just simply focus on the meats!

extremely chaotic environment to be in at first entry, but take a moment to look around the walls (menu has been enlarged n placed on walls) and look for a staff member to take your order. there are food scraps strewn all over the floor with used tissues etc but it’s the result of industrial fans to keep the seating area cool and comfy. food comes really quickly and tastes pretty good! veggies served with the banh xeo were clean and fresh.

Definitely worth the visit. They are located at the end of a small alley. I think the name in Grab is "Ba Duong Vietnamese Sizzling Crepe." Don't be surprised if the map asks your car to be on the other side of where they'll drop you off. Trust the driver and make sure you see the signage, which is the same as in the videos. Skip lunch as it gets packed, like crowded level, and it's hard to find a table, especially if you are in a big group. BEST: Banh Xeo Better: Beef Good: Bun Thit Nuong (I find their version to be more on the peanutsy side compared to the version in HCMC, which is more vinegary) AND BEFORE YOU LEAVE, COUNT YOUR CHANGE AS WE EXPERIENCED A 20K SHORT. Not sure if this is intentional, but hopefully not.
