The temple lacks any religious atmosphere; it looks highly suspicious and deceitful, almost sinister. Furthermore, the floating market section is in terrible condition, resembling an urban slum.
Wat Tha Ka Rong temple and floating market, a large temple featuring various deities, legendary monks, and Buddha statues. The floating market is quite intriguing, offering local foods and products exclusively on weekends and holidays. However, the crowds are relatively small.
Weirdest yet most authentic floating market. I went on a weekday and 90% of the vendors are close. Yet I did not regret visiting.
Kinda quirky market a little different from the usual style tourists encounter. Floating market at the back on the river with many boats serving foods to pontoons. We were there early in the day so didn't see it at it's best and can only imagine how exciting it must be in the evening when busy and lit up. Would recommend a visit.
A nice small floating market which seems to focus on merit making donation. It takes a while to reach the market. There are more food stalls than souvenir ones. A good quality hammock costs 200 bahts. Boat noodle tastes OK, nothing special. Going back again? No.
