A popular restaurant that’s definitely worth trying, but be prepared for a long queue, especially during peak hours. The food was delicious and lived up to its reputation, with rich flavours and generous portions. The only downside was that the service was a bit slow, which is understandable considering how busy the restaurant gets. The staff were still polite and did their best despite the crowd. Overall, it was a good dining experience. If you don’t mind waiting, it’s a great place to enjoy authentic Thai food. I’d come back again, just maybe at a less busy time.
We can certainly see why this restaurant earned Michelin recognition. Every dish we ordered was exceptional—from the perfectly crispy scallops and flavorful duck to the irresistibly crispy pork and rich, savory crab noodles. Each plate was beautifully presented, thoughtfully prepared, and absolutely delicious. It was a dining experience that exceeded our expectations and one we’ll be talking about long after our trip. When world-class cuisine is paired with heartfelt hospitality, you don’t just have dinner—you create a travel memory. This is the kind of place that’s absolutely worth the wait and deserves a spot on every food lover’s itinerary. 🍽️✨
Super awesome. We had no clues that we’d have to take a queue number and what time they opened, so we arrived early at 3pm and therefore decided to wait at the cafe nearby until 4pm. It was so lucky that we arrived early and got a number, bcos by the time they opened, there were already people lining up and tables were almost filled. The food came very quick. Tasted delicious. We ordered and famous mama noodle pot, grilled BBQ duck, steamed seabass and fried egg for our baby. We adored the mama noodle. Staff were also friendly and easy to talk to. What’s more impressive was that we were able to internationally transfer the payment from our Vietnamese bank accounts, with reasonable exchange rate. While we finished eating, people lined up outside like crazy and it might take them 1 hour at least to go inside. Wow.
The BEST tom yum soup I had in my Bangkok trip! Spicy, sour, with awesome spice and aromatic, tasted immediately from the first sip. Noodles were instant noodles, and the crispy pork belly was AMAZING! Wonderful crisp, delicious juicy fat and suiting with the soup! Portion was slightly too much for one person (big eater), but just nice for two persons. Heard the queue can be worst at some times, but visiting on weekdays during opening hours was still pretty spacious.
Jeh O Chula is definitely a must try spot when visiting Bangkok 🇹🇭 The tom yum here is honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. The broth is rich and flavorful, perfectly balanced between spicy and sour, with a deep shrimp aroma and authentic Thai spices. It’s the kind of taste you keep thinking about afterward 😭 The Thai style shrimp in sauce was also incredible. The shrimp were fresh and the sauce was packed with flavor. Overall, the food feels truly worth the hype. One thing to keep in mind is that the restaurant gets extremely crowded, so it’s best to arrive around 30 minutes early to queue. The waiting area outside can get pretty hot and packed, but once you finally get your food, it feels completely worth it 😆
