I tried this chicken rice food stall a few days ago. This stall, is situated near Sam Yot, only sells Chicken rice. The shop owner is called Jack and he speaks good English (according to him, he learned it from listening to the music and youtube, so nice). In the early morning, around 8:30 am, I saw Jack had prepared the food and the food stall was very clean. All the utensils were clean and covered by plastic baskets. Of course, I tried the chicken rice with both fried and fresh chicken (60 bahts). To me, the fresh chicken was more delicious than the fried one. But I liked the raw oily rice and soup more, they were specially treated. If you pass by and want to support this small own business, why not try the Chicken Rice there.

I came because of YouTuber Gary Butler's recommendation. And he is right! Taste real good. Authentic street food. And the owner Jack is nice. The shop is about 3 minutes walk from MRT station, and a stone's throw from Ong Ang Canal. A satisfying lunch.

Saw this place from Doobydobap’s vlog and visited on a Saturday around 10:30AM, no queue at all. Got to chat a bit with Jack (the owner), super nice guy! We ordered 2 chicken rice plates wc are a combo of Hainanese and roasted chicken. Both were delicious, clean-tasting with no weird aftertaste, and the sauces made it even better. Total was just 120THB (~230PHP) for both plates, super sulit!

Jack’s Chicken Rice is a fantastic local hawker stall that provides delicious grilled Hainanese chicken along with a chicken radish broth on the side. Despite its humble setting this was the best chicken rice I have ever had and I think is definitely better than the famous cheapest Michilen star chicken rice stall in Singapore. Would highly recommend as this was a perfect light meal to kickoff my visit to Bangkok.

Really loved the chicken rice here. Ordered one portion but the host gave us 2 portions of soup. The rice with the chicken and the broth was incredible. Nice roadside seating and ambience. Whole meal was 60 baht only. Very filling.
