We picked this place near the Grand Palace after our visit – and the food turned out to be unexpectedly delicious! We finished every single dish! Portions were average-sized. We went during off-peak hours so there weren't many people – everything was made fresh to order, and the service speed was just okay. I imagine it could take quite a while if it's crowded.** Ambiance: The setting and service were both decent, though it might feel a bit cramped with a full house. Food: The mango sticky rice is a must-order signature. The shrimp stir-fried noodles – I absolutely love Thai fried noodles – were refreshing and packed with flavor, and the colors looked so appetizing! The fried spring rolls are also a signature but personally, I found them pretty average. **Drinks:** The watermelon slushie and Thai-style lemon tea – the lemon tea really surprised us! It didn't have that cheap artificial taste – it was fragrant, not overly sweet, and incredibly refreshing in the summer heat. Highly recommended!
Great restaurant, delicious Thai food, huge servings - definitely a must visit if you're around Tha Tien! Came here at around 11AM, before heading to Reclining Buddha. This time is perfect time as only a couple of table were occupied so I don't have to wait. By around 11:30AM to 12NN, it was already packed. Staffs were all nice and welcoming. Also have an aircon so perfect to stay a bit to cool down with Thailand's scorching heat.
Home cafe, is a great little restaurant to visit, clean kitchen, toilets are very clean. Food is awesome as well I had the fried pork belly with rice, it hit the spot just perfectly! Also the place has air conditioning which is great for those who prefer the cold! Thanks for the great atmosphere & food!
It was a very nice and clean restaurant that my guide took us too. The food was very cheap and tasty I would reccomend going. There was an amazing drinks range and I had a Thai milk tea which was delicious!
We ordered shrimp pad thai, curry, and a vegetable dish. The food was the most uninspiring so far in Bangkok. Very average and barely ok. Best thing is the AC and being not too crowded. Near the reclining Buddha.
