SP Chicken

If you like char grilled chicken's 🐔, then this is your place! SP chicken does dine-in or takeaway chicken's and other Thai dishes. I grabbed a whole chook to takeaway and the happy staff got one straight off the rotisserie, diced it up and I was on my way in a flash! It was delicious 😋 I've been back several times so far and would highly recommend this place who likes fowl food 😆 at a great value for money. This was a recommendation. My son wanted protein and I must say the roast chicken was tender and flavourful and garlicky - which I love. The stir fried morning glory had a good flavour too. V satisfying. Closes at 5pm. Cash only. Beware, chicken ran out about 3pm today (Saturday)

Everyone knows if you live or travel extensively in Thailand that the chicken and rice hang is a necessity and one of the first places you find. SP is a classic… atmosphere is always 10/10 … 99% locals. The chicken is served with the bones so watch the teeth… I would go for the BBQ pork ribs… excellent… I’ll be here every day

A must-visit local gem in Chiang Mai! The charcoal-grilled chicken is juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked — simple but full of authentic northern Thai taste. Their papaya salad and sticky rice go perfectly with the chicken. The place is small and local-style, but the flavor is big! Friendly staff and quick service. Definitely worth a stop if you want to try real Thai street-style grilled chicken.

Tbh I thought most of the meats were just mediocre. Nothing stood out as tasting great, it was just a mid meal. My favorite was actually one of the beef salads! The chicken was ok, and some other cuts of meat were super fatty yet not flavorful and just ok
