The massaman curry is amazing! The hype is real. Like all the reviews here, the portions are very big so see the photos before you order. Several options for vegetarian and vegan individuals. Absolutely loved it, cheap, DELICIOUS, and worth it. Would go again. People might have to wait because it is generally full.
The place is nice, and with lots of tables. The service was a bit slow but overall good. For the food, we tried the Khao Soi which was very good ! It is also nice to be able to choose the size of the portions which allows you to try several things. The pork with basil was not the best but the papaya was good (very spicy). We recommend for a nice dinner 😉
The massaman curry is truly 5 stars! I ordered size S which is a perfect amount for two. Size S of pad thai is small though. I arrived at around 7:30pm and service was fast. Nice ambiance.
I had massaman curry with rice It was creamy rich sweet ( not overly) and so delish And big chunks of meats in it which I love ! Can’t say they’re super friendly but I understand as it’s a busy restaurant Highly recommended!
I've been in Chiang Mai for a week now, and this is the most overrated place I've ever eaten at. The food is pretty average. 3 stars tops. I ordered these dishes for 557 baht, you can’t say it cheap. Most important thing is the shrimp was terrible—definitely frozen food, with no chewiness at all. I don't understand why others think it's delicious. However, the waiters' attitudes were okay.
