We craved for pork leg meat rice and found out this popular Michelin gourmand on the Google list. Take it a try and we ordered the large size stewed pork leg. The meat was tender and the gravy great mix with rice. It was good and I will back again on my next trip to BKkK. Their service is fast and they will seat you wherever the table is available. One thing they only accept cash. Anyway, it is recommended.

Charoen Saeng Silom is one of my favorite pig trotter stall in Bangkok. When I invite Bangkok, I sure find time to come here. This stall specialized on pig trotter, hock, shank, intestine and spare parts. The pig trotter tendon is very smooth and tasty, the pork meat texture is good. It bending very well with the Thai style chilly sauce. The stall is very popular not only for locals, but you can also see many tourists coming here. Especially tourists from Singapore, Malaysia, Japan and Korea. I will highly recommend you to try if you like to eat pig trotter …

This is one of many Bangkok's Michelin Bib Gourmand places to try. I was staying not far from this place and I woke up early to visit this place for breakfast. There were not many customers in the shop but the staff were very busy. They seemed to be more busy with takeaway orders than the dine in orders. Ordering food here is very easy as you only need to choose the pork leg and rice. The size of the pork leg depends on how much you want to eat or how many people are sharing it. Didn't take more than 2 minutes for the food to arrive after taking my order. First look it looked good and smelled good I thought one plate of rice would not be enough. Have to say the pork leg was really well executed. The skin and the meat was so soft it could just melt in your mouth. The sauce is so addictive and special cause I would have expected it to be savoury yet it tasted sweet. And also the collagen from the skin should make the sauce thick but it was quite watery. The smallest portion is sometimes even too much for one person. I finished the rice and still had some meat left. I finished everything clean, the meat pairs quite well with the spicy sauce, loved the soft preserved vegetables hidden under the pork leg. Nothing much to fault, simple meal but very satisfying. Price wise is also super reasonable in terms of quality and quantity. Worth visiting.

I searched for the best pork knuckle rice around my area and this restaurant came up top. We went there around 8am and there were not many customers. I ordered one stew pork hocks and one pig's leg (half size). Both are delicious and soft, though the taste is on the sweeter side. Best to pair with their chilli sauce.

This is the restaurant for those who likes pork knuckles. The service is great, environment is acceptable,tender meat ,Food is authentic, aromatic, price is affordable and clean. They do serve pork knuckle, intestines and other parts of the pig in braising process .Although hidden in a back lane but it’s not hard to reach with google maps assistance.
