Found my coffee sanctuary in Saigon 🇻🇳 The Workshop serves legit specialty coffee — bold, complex, not your usual sweet VN drip. Brunch is solid, space is airy & industrial-cool. Perfect for laptop days or long catch-ups. 10/10 ambiance ☕ Coffee Expect high-end, expertly prepared coffee — especially if you enjoy specialty brews rather than just a quick café-style drink. 🍽️ Food & Drinks Food here isn’t just a side dish — it’s worth ordering and often a highlight, especially for brunch lovers. 🪑 Ambience & Place The Workshop has a distinctive industrial-loft vibe. The interior is bright and spacious with plenty of natural light, large tables, and a laid-back, creative atmosphere — perfect for working or relaxing. It sits upstairs in an older building and feels like a trendy, arty space — but finding the entrance can be a little tricky, and there’s no elevator.
A very bright, spacious, and rustic feel to this cafe. It is not easy to find but we were prompted by an old man who knew exactly what we were looking for without us asking and pointed us to the correct alley. The alley looks deserted but all Saigon's hidden gems are hidden this way. Inside the cafe, you can't help to feel so welcomed by the warm lights and aromatic coffee. The place seems to design for digital nomads with almost every 2 out 3 tables are customers who are working on their laptop. They have a range of coffee to choose from, with different beans and different style. I also ordered a tiramisu to pair with my coffee. Both the drinks and the dessert were not bad.
The Workshop is one of Ho Chi Minh City’s most well-known specialty coffee shops, tucked away in an old building on Ngo Duc Ke Street. Finding the entrance can be a little confusing the first time, but once you’re inside, you’re greeted by a spacious industrial-style café with high ceilings, large windows, and a relaxing atmosphere. The coffee is clearly the highlight here. They offer a wide selection of beans and brewing methods, and the baristas are knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. I tried a pour-over, and it was smooth, aromatic, and full of flavor. It’s definitely a great place for anyone who appreciates high-quality coffee. The café has a calm and stylish vibe, although it’s more of a destination for enjoying a carefully crafted cup than a place to spend the whole day working. If you’re a coffee lover visiting Ho Chi Minh City, The Workshop is absolutely worth experiencing at least once.
Atmosphere is good. If you enjoy various kind of brewing techniques, it is a good place. I ordered espresso, coffee mocktail, pour over. Pour over ok but not out of average too much. Espresso really good. For the food, good breakfast but again not impressive. Price is high so expect more from the coffee and food
I had an amazing experience here! The pesto chicken burger was absolutely delicious—the chicken was incredibly tender, and the pesto sauce was super flavorful and fresh. The burger bun was soft and perfectly toasted. It came with a side of crispy golden fries and a refreshing salad. On top of the great food, the staff here are so friendly and welcoming. They really made me feel at home. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back for more
