Plenty of food choices and food was clean! (Stomach was fine the next day). Watch out for this store ran by a young couple, their fried tofu is really good. The ladies's English was really good and she was really friendly, we were seated next to her stall and she encouraged us to order from other stores around and was always patient as we made multiple separate orders of 1 item despite being so busy. Also got tropical tea from a few stores down that was HUGE and had many fruits in it. The sausage from another few stores down further was also delicious (Watch out for the stall selling the butter toast)
I really had a wonderful time at this food market! I went alone as a woman and felt very safe. The range of food was excellent and it was clean. Great prices too! You have to try the potato puffs! The durian was so sweet and creamy (I love durian) and lots of fresh juices to try-sugarcane juice was perfect after chilli mango chunks!
This was SO much fun! We went without a guide and still managed to find our way around with little trouble. We tried so many delicious foods — squid, lemongrass beef, Cambodian beef skewers, pork skewers, Korean spicy chicken, banana pancakes, and potato twists. We were also able to get some delicious Nuoc Mia for the cheapest price we’ve seen! Be aware that the street itself is very tiny but bikes are still permitted, we saw a few near misses so make sure to stand out of the way when vehicles are passing!
Amazing! Highly recommend! Authentic Local Experience! If you like seafood! Or are interested in trying out some local cuisine that you can do on your budget! This is it! Friendly people! Local living! Wide variety of food options! Lobster, crab, oysters, scallops, prawns, octopus, snails, noodles, rice, vegetables, soups, stir fry. It starts about 5pm. Goes till 10-11pm.
The food market we visited in Ho Chi Minh City was a great place to try a variety of local dishes in one spot. Everything felt fresh, lively, and full of flavor, with plenty of stalls offering everything from snacks to full meals. We enjoyed walking around, choosing different foods to try, and just taking in the atmosphere. A fun and easy way to experience Vietnamese street food culture.
