The pho here is decent. It’s cooked in a traditional style because I can tell the broth is simmered from bones without many added spices like star anise or cinnamon (there might be some, but so little that I can’t really taste them). The broth is light, clear, and not as rich or heavily seasoned as in other places. I heard from locals that the owner is from Northern Vietnam, but the flavor tastes more like Southern-style pho. The noodles are thin rather than the long, flat noodles typical of Northern pho. The restaurant is quite small but very clean—a family-run place. The price is a bit high, and the portion of meat isn’t large, but the quality is good. The beef isn’t mushy; it’s firm and slightly chewy. The beef balls here are very delicious (I’d say it’s one of the places with the best beef balls, in my opinion). The photo below shows a bowl of pho priced at 90,000 VND. It’s worth trying at least once when you’re here. It’s just a bit of a pity that they don’t serve fried dough sticks.

The pho broth was flavorful and comforting, the bean sprouts were refillable, which was a nice touch. However, the amount of beef was a bit Overall, still a good pho experience for the tasty soup.

This was the only restaurant I visited twice during my stay in Ho Chi Minh City. I enjoyed being able to try authentic local-style pho at a very reasonable price. There were more locals than tourists, which was always a good sign, and all four pho dishes I tried were delicious. The fresh herbs and vegetables were generous, and the restaurant was kept clean and comfortable. Please continue maintaining the same quality and cleanliness. I look forward to visiting again on my next trip to Ho Chi Minh City. 🍜🇻🇳
