Canh Bún Chợ Hồ Thị Kỷ
Opening Hours
Why worth it
- Serves canh bun, a tomato-based crab and noodle soup found at Ho Thi Ky market
- A smaller specialty than pho or bun bo hue, worth trying for variety
- Very few reviews so far — likely a genuinely local market stall rather than a tourist spot

40k a bowl, and I remember it tasted really good back then, but now that I've come back, it's not as good as it used to be.
It's delicious! My mom took me there since I was little. I've been hooked on Auntie 7's noodle soup ever since. The blood pudding is soft and chewy, so tasty. It's perfect for a late afternoon snack. 40k/bowl (full portion). But it's a roadside stall and inside the market, so if you're on a motorbike, you have to pay 5k for parking, there's no parking space. If you're on a car, you'll have to take a Grab taxi to the end of the alley and walk in; you definitely can't park your car there. 🥲
Delicious, clean, and well-presented. Satisfied; my trust in Google was well worth it. I ate two bowls.
A perfect 5 stars. Only one dish: Authentic Bun Cay (with meatballs, crab paste, fresh blood pudding, and tofu)... the restaurant is as good as the owner... the taste has remained the same for many years. They sell from 12 PM until they run out (usually by 4 PM when I arrive, it's already sold out).
Sister Bay's noodle soup, a 30-year-old family recipe. Absolutely delicious, haha.
