Han Market in Da Nang — I went 3 times in 5 days 😄 One of the cheapest spots in town if you bargain smart. You can get everything here — souvenirs, clothes, silk materials, coffee, chocolates, fruits, and even tailor-made outfits. Love the busy local vibe, but be ready… must bargain kaw kaw! Prices can be marked up, so don’t be shy 💯 Definitely a must-visit when in Da Nang!
Han Market is a lively and very busy local market. Be prepared for the heat and lots of people. You’ll mainly find T-shirts, clothing, shoes, handbags and many replica brands. The sellers at the front can be quite pushy, and some even refused to let us try on the clothes. If that happens, simply walk further into the market. The vendors at the back were much friendlier and usually allowed us to try items on. Don’t pay the first price—you can negotiate quite easily. Also, pay close attention to the quality of the clothing. Some items are made in China, others in Vietnam, and we noticed a difference in quality. Overall, it’s a fun place to shop if you enjoy bargaining and know what you’re looking for.
One of the best markets in Da Nang for shopping and we found this market best in Vietnam if we compare Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh with this one. The rates are reasonable already so negotiations are not much. Everything from clothes, Shoes, bags, electronics and food items are available here. Carry large bags if you want to avoid carrying so many things in your hands. Keep in mind that this place is dense and sweaty due to many shops and people.
It's a local market and indont recommend it as tourist not because people are bad but it's for locals , foreigners will get 3-10 times prices before negotiations. But I like about the people is they don't irritate but request and smile when u say no. Items lot of gifts but lot of time spent in rbagainjng than giving fair rates. Bought few chocolates form entrance as the guys there are fair with their starting price and give samples also. Clothes area complete loot as the ladies just give u huge pricing and aya morning evening to close the deal. Designs are ok not great
Han Market is a true local Da Nang experience. I would give it 4/5, mainly for the authenticity and atmosphere rather than the shopping itself. It has that real village-market feel — crowded, noisy, busy, shops almost spilling over each other, people moving in every direction, and just about everything being sold somewhere inside. It feels genuine rather than polished or designed specifically for tourists, which is exactly what I liked about it. Be prepared for the smells! If you are a little queasy or sensitive to strong food, seafood and market smells, wearing a mask might be a good idea. It can definitely get pungent in certain sections. Shopping is cheap, but you absolutely need to haggle — and haggle a lot. Don’t necessarily come here expecting premium quality; that is not really the point. Come for the local atmosphere, the bargaining, the crowds, the chaos and the experience of a traditional Vietnamese market. Manage your expectations and enjoy it for what it is. If you want something clean, quiet and organized, go to a mall. If you want to experience a bit of everyday local Da Nang, Han Market is definitely worth visiting. Visited near closing and did not take many photos 😣
