CHOJIRO Hozenji Flagship Store

I first came here by accident in 2024, and then came back the next day too. Now in 2026 i have come back again to experience the freash, delicious cuts of sushi. The chef speaks great English and is very friendly and talented. The atmosphere is very cozy and not too packed with some soft jazz playing as you enjoy your meal. It has complimentary water and green tea too. Its a perfect place to go for some nice sushi. 💕

Incredibly good. We were here twice, both times it was a memorable experience 😅 I believe love happened in my mouth when I ate the ones with avocado and onions on top. Did not quite liked the tempura set and sashimi from the tablet menu tho, but probably I’m just not a fan. As for sushi from the belt - you just have to try that. Orange plates were my favorites.

Had an absolutely sublime meal here. Such a nice ambience with cool jazz music in the background. We came here early, around 5:30~6:00 and didnt have to wait. Some highlights were the fatty tuna, aburi scallop, aburi salmon, seared beef. Their drawcard is that their nigiri is not your average run of the mill selection. Quite distinctly different which is pleasant to encounter. As with most nigiri sushi places there is a free flow of matcha green tea at your disposal. Look for the chef's recommendations and the seasonal menu. The main entrance staff member spoke good English. Had a nice chat with him. Lovely person. One of the best nigiri places I have had on this trip.👍🏻

Visited this branch twice during our stay in Osaka, the kids enjoyed conveyor belt 😊. Sushi was super fresh and tasty, also tried set menu, good value for money, loved salmon with onions 🧅. Good selection of vegetarian options, our daughter enjoyed most fried eggplant and avocado roll.

We came after the restaurant opened at 5pm. Been here 3 times now and the sushi never fails to impress, always so fresh. The chef working here, Yoshi, was lovely and so friendly as well! I definitely reccommend to come here.
