YAKINIKU Maru Shinsaibashiten

We met the owner at an omakase experience and he told us about his restaurant. We waited in line for about 20-30 minutes but SO WORTH. The seating is intimate and they use charcoal for the yakiniku. The Wagyu set is ideal but my favorite was the beef tongue with leeks. Super helpful and responsive staff. Flavor, atmosphere, price, everything was great. Will be recommending.

Great staff, cool atmosphere, and delicious meat! I would highly recommend for anyone around the area looking for a good filling meal. The service was extremely friendly and helpful to tourists. The vibe was relaxing and nice ventilation for the grilling. The meat selection was mid to high range which paired well with a nice beer. 10/10!

I am back here again for the 10th time. It is so delicious. I tried various yakiniku place across Osaka, Kyoto & Kobe but nothing comes close to the ambience & taste of yakiniku at Maru. My favourite are the tenderloin, root of tongue with garlic, rich beef rib, premium loin & Mega Highball. They have multiple chain across Osaka. But I prefer this outlet, it is the best ! I can’t wait to visit Osaka again soon

I visited this restaurant two days ago, and I was lucky to only have to wait for about 20 minutes. The interior is quite small, but given the weather, I found the cozy atmosphere to be really appealing. We ordered beef tongue and three other types of beef. From the very first bite of the beef tongue, I was blown away by its flavor - it had just the right amount of crispiness and paired perfectly with the onions. I regret not ordering more! The dipping sauce here is amazing, unique and unlike any other yakiniku restaurant in Japan, where most places just serve soy sauce in a boring way. 100 points for the dipping sauce! The Vietnamese chef and staff were extremely friendly and welcoming to customers. Their enthusiasm is what made me decide to give them a 5-star review. These are the kind of staff that the restaurant needs to keep in order to continue growing - they're incredibly kind and respectful to customers.
