This was our favourite meal in Japan. We got the Hamburger Steak Curry and the Pork Cutlet & Fried Egg & Half Size Eggplant. The curry had a deep and rich flavour. The hamburger was juicy and perfectly seasoned and was our favourite. The cutlet was juicy as well but not as addicting as the hamburger. The eggplant was also very yummy. This will be on my must visit list any time I am in Japan!
I am a curry fiend, and this absolutely the best curry I’ve had. Katsu is so crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Curry itself is so flavorful with the seasonings. Definitely order with the garlic rice and add all the yummy toppings: deep fried eggplant, gooey cheese, and egg. Highly recommended! Definitely come early as they have limited seats. It’s a small place but the chef is very efficient and fun to watch.
My husband and I had the pork cutlet, friend egg, cheese, and garlic rice + hamburger steak, fried egg, cheese, and garlic rice. So flavorful! There was also a kick to it so if you’re sensitive to spicy just keep that in mind. Very tasty. We got there about 10 min before opening and were in the first group seated.
The curry was sweet and savory. All 3 of us cleaned the plates. Can't recommend enough! Hamburger curry was perfect, as was miso katsu w/ eggplant. Kids miso katsu was a generous portion for kid's price. Would absolutely return!
Solid curry. Best we've had in Japan and we've had a lot. Complex and deep flavour, simple no frills ordering, everything was perfectly done down to the fried egg. Slight wait of 10 mins but totally worth it.
