Osaru coffee

Cute coffee shop! And delicious food! Went here twice during our stay in Osaka. There’s a little cafe downstairs for pastries and coffee, but the full menu is served upstairs. Egg salad sandwich hit the spot! Coffee and matcha were also very good. Service was great too.

We had breakfast here and really enjoyed it. The coffee was excellent and definitely one of the highlights. The menu is small, but everything we ordered was fresh and very tasty. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The only thing to keep in mind is that the café is quite popular, so if it’s busy you may have to wait for a table. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily come back.

Lovely place - relaxing and feels like time stops momentarily whilst sipping a tasty coffee here. You can see how passionate the owner is about his coffee making. They have two floors, top floor serves food, only had time to grab a quick coffee downstairs this trip, but what a nice trip down memory lane...

Nice place, feels very local, and the service was friendly. I just didn’t like the food. I ordered the French toast and it felt almost like raw dough, very soft and creamy but not in a good way. Hard to explain, it just wasn’t nice for me. The coffee was decent. Overall I wasn’t happy with my breakfast, but I’ll still give it 3 stars because the service was good and the coffee was okay. Just to clarify, the coffee shop downstairs is separate from the breakfast spot on the second floor.

Honestly such a lovely little place! We had the espresso, iced latte and banana coffee latte — the banana one especially was such a fun surprise, didn’t expect to love it as much as I did! The lady working there was so sweet and genuinely helpful, explained everything to us without us even having to ask. You could tell she really cares about the place. And the vibe? Super cosy, really nice atmosphere. The kind of coffee shop you stumble into and end up staying way longer than planned. Will 100% be back!
