The pickled cucumbers turned out to be absolutely delicious! Perfectly sweet and salty, crunchy, and so tasty! And I say this as someone from a country that loves all kinds of pickled and fermented foods (Poland) 😁 The older lady at the stand was exceptionally kind and polite. Higly recommended!
Grandma shop. Got a whole cup of pickled vegetables for 300 yen. Sweet, crunchy, spicy, packed with flavor. Best valued place in this market.
Very good Tsukemono Shop. If you want Authentic, Traditional and good Japanese tsukemono, you should purchase from this shop. It’s been operating for 130 years (5th Generation) ! Even the Emperor of Japan came to this shop 🥰 Lady boss very friendly and generous. You can even bring back to your home country! They will seal nicely for you. Very friendly
They have a wide selection of traditional pickles. The pickled vegetables in particular have a very natural and delicious taste. It has a nostalgic feel to it, even though it's located in the touristy Kuromon Market.
Pickles really bring out the characteristics of vegetables. They're slightly spicy and you'll never get tired of the flavor, even if you eat them every day. I wish I had bought more.
