I can not understand some of the poor reviews on here. This place is amazing and if you are in the area I would highly recommend it. I asked my grab driver if he could recommend a good Bahn Mi place and this was it. Packed with locals and was seved fast. Very different to the many Bahn Mi I've tried in Australia. But I feel this is the real authentic way. Ignore the bad reviews and order the most expensive one on the menu for 35k, it has the most meat.
This place is no more than a whole in the wall take away spot, but the banh mi are very good. I especially like the thinner ones with pate instead of the regular fillings. It's always busy so be prepared to queue. They also sell the pate in tubs which is great to take home.
The banh mi is good and cheap! Nothing extraordinary but good enough! Ps no place to sit down and eat so only take away
😐/🥹 Asked for no cucumbers, he understood me, the lady he spoke to understood him, but I still got cucumbers.. The sandwich was just okay. I ate half and tossed the rest because cucumbers.
The bread is cold, too much green onion, cilantro, and thai basil - pretty much all I could taste were these herbs. Not my thing, overpriced for the quality offered. There are a lot of other stores with better banh mi. Not sure why people are so hyped over this particular one.
