Came to eat here twice in January 2024 on my trip to Thailand. This had to be my number 1 most favorite dish to eat in all of Bangkok!! A traditional Thai Yellow Beef Tendon Curry with rice, eggs, & cucumbers. You can also add more spice & flavoring with the Prik Nam Pla, chili sauce, & chopped green chilies. The food was so amazing, & the hours here are limited, so coming as bright & early as you can (about 7 AM) is key. The workers are so welcoming & hospitable as well & I was the only foreigner eating in this restaurant with everyone else being Thai locals! Definitely adds to the authenticity.
Good food, but I could not say I was amazed. It's worth the visit and the price is low (80 baht). Nevertheless I was expecting a lot more flavor, maybe it's just my personal preference. The service is really good and they are very quick in serving. It's in an entrance that if you don't pay too much attention, you can miss it, so check carefully.
I stopped to try this spot out for breakfast and I really enjoyed it! The staff running the place were very nice, and the food was really tasty. I got the beef tendon curry with rice and added on the sausage and roast pork. It was very delicious, especially with everything all mixed together. The tendon was perfect and the chilis on the table took it over the top! I would recommend stopping in if you're in the area!
I came here in specific to follow the youtuber recommended advice, and it was amazing experience and opened me up a great day. Curry mixed rice and pork, very local food, little sweet curry and a little bit spicy was very tasty, not too strong not so typical curry was definitely smooth and mellow, I really enjoyed it.
You won't find a cozier spot than this. Their curry and rice are incredibly comforting, and at just 80 THB, it's a real steal! I went for the beef curry with some fried pork and Chinese sausage on the side (although they weren't really necessary); the curry itself was bursting with flavor yet wonderfully simple. That's what stuck with me—the pure simplicity of it all. Located in a nondescript alleyway amidst bustling hardware and car shops, you might overlook it amidst the hustle and grime, but once you've dined there, you'll understand why you sought it out. Good food at a great price with a flavor that's both beautiful and satisfying—it's a true testament to the essence of a working person's meal, where quality, taste, and affordability converge seamlessly. How delightful.
