Wonderful experience and food at Kats Kitchen! We opted to pay an additional 20 baht per table for the air-conditioned dining room, and it was absolutely worth it for the extra comfort. The food portions were surprisingly generous for the price, offering excellent value without compromising on quality. Every dish we tried was flavorful, freshly prepared, and truly satisfying. Combined with the welcoming atmosphere and great affordability, Kats Kitchen is definitely a place we’d happily revisit and highly recommend to others. This picture that you see cost us 439 baht in total for 2 persons and we did not order any drinks.
Kat’s Kitchen is a great find if you lovende the area. They provide a variety of food and you can sit and watch the world go by as you eat. I went there three times and each time i started talking to someone also solo travelling. I enjoyed the khao soi very much but also the currys and the omelette was good. I definitely recommend going here. Thank you 🙏🏼
The food was okay, but definitely not amazing. We asked for a spicy green curry (Thai-style spicy), but it was anything but spicy. It was almost more like a soup than a curry. The portion size was generous though. The stir-fried vegetables with cashew nuts had a nice variety of vegetables, but unfortunately it lacked flavor. The main taste that came through was tomato, which felt unusual for this dish. It was supposed to be medium spicy, but it wasn’t spicy at all. It was the least enjoyable cashew dish we’ve had during our trip through Thailand. On the positive side, the garlic chicken and the morning glory were both flavorful and are worth ordering. If you’re looking for authentic Thai food with bold flavors, I wouldn’t recommend the green curry or the cashew vegetable dish. The food here feels more tailored to tourists than to authentic Thai cuisine. The service was mixed. We witnessed a waitress getting angry with a waiter because she he had been standing at our table for too long. It was uncomfortable to watch and came across as very rude and disrespectful, both to her employee and to us as customers. One of the female staff members also didn’t seem very interested in serving guests and wasn’t particularly friendly. On the other hand, a few of the other staff members were genuinely warm and welcoming. As for the atmosphere, I’d give it a 6/10. It lacks charm and doesn’t have a particularly cozy or memorable ambiance.
Very affordable. Cash better. Card has 3% charges. Not the best I would say but it’s not bad. Great portion. Curry is more milky kind. My fav is shrimp tempura. Still I’d recommended
We were originally going to another place but saw this place being the busiest corner of the street so we thought we’d try it and it turned out to be a great choice! Tom yum seafood soup with mama noddles is 10/10! High recommend. Their green curry is also amazing. I’d come back again!
