Although this is fairly popular, we found that the quality is average. We ordered the dry and soup with roll rice noodles. We also ordered the fried wanton and fried fish balls.
Eventhough the shop has long story, but right now, the taste seem drop from original flavor. It is also too expensive for local people and get only small portion of chicken. Not worth the price. But foreigner might think this is still worth the price given your income.
My husband and I ordered noodles here for lunch (see pictures attached) - he got chicken and pork and I just got chicken. The food was tasty and the staff were friendly. This is also very affordable (65 baht for soup). We would definitely eat here again!
Bold flavors, not too spicy and a good portion size thats not too small and not too big to put you to sleep. The prices were about 65 baht per bowl but you can add more to each bowl. They do actually close by 2:30 pm so get her before then
Sainampheung Chicken Wing Noodle in Bangkok is a nostalgic, old-school noodle shop filled with local charm. The walls are decorated with portraits of the Thai royal family, Buddha images, and family photos, giving the place a warm and homely vibe. Their signature dish is the chicken wing noodle soup. The broth is clear yet flavorful, with a gentle aroma of fried garlic and shallots. The chicken is tender and juicy, paired with pork liver, fish slices, fried tofu, and other toppings for a variety of textures. The noodles are springy and hold up well in the soup. On the table, you’ll find the classic Thai seasoning set (sugar, fish sauce, chili flakes, vinegar with chili), allowing you to adjust the flavor to your liking adding chili and vinegar gives the soup an extra kick. While the place is humble, it’s clean, well-maintained, and run by friendly owners. Prices are very reasonable, making it a great spot for anyone.
