I say, this was the truly local place we went to. You sit in, after going through a small alley, and you feel like you are in a foodcourt. The most refreshing is that there was ALMOST NO foreigners. The waiters had to guess whether we would be comfortable with the Chinese or the English menu (the latter of course). Simply: 1. Big or small portion. 2. What type of chicken part 3. What type of noodles. Menu is a bit complicated but basically it’s that. For me the small portion was enough, we came at 10 am and it seems like this was the locals breakfast. The condiment salad came for free. I suggest to order also the chicken salad which is very tasty. There was only one waiter who spoke English and be patient with him as he has a local pronunciation. Very recommended
Loved about the big portion, tender chicken slices and lovely broth of the Chicken Pho. Quality and quantity were excellent. 👍🏻 Shredded Chicken Salad was fresh with mountain of vegetables, herbs and chicken meat. It didn’t have much dressing so it would be quite bland if eaten alone but adding to the noodle was excellent. 🙂
My first meal in Ho Chi Minh City! 🇻🇳🍜 The broth is simmered with chicken for hours, giving it a rich chicken flavour while still tasting light and naturally sweet. Even the sliced chicken breast was cooked perfectly—super juicy and not dry at all. I came here wondering if it would taste similar to our Malaysian chicken shredded kuey teow soup. I left with a happy stomach and each has its own unique charm. ❤️
The place is crowded with locals. Clean and fast service despite it's busy. Unfortunately I only took the pictures afterwards :( I ordered Miến & small chicken salad. Food taste ok, nothing wow or bad, but the soup has a lot of fat. I expected the clear broth for this traditional dish. The salad dish has lots of wings bones, not much meat. I am not sure this is normal or I was just in unlucky terms. The total cost is USD $7.32, which is not bad, but I had expected more for this price. Maybe need to try more dishes. Food taste ok, it's the place I would go if the group want to eat there, but it's not the place I really seek to go. If in the area, try it, but not driving far for it
10/10 will come back again! 100% highly recommended! No wonder it’s Michelin! The best pho ever even better than the local pho! I love the chili sauce cos it’s really spicy! The drumstick meat is very muscle, the chicken must be trained well The soup is awesome very richly If it’s hotter will be better Chili padi is a bonus too
