Absolutely must try! Service is impeccable and the dishes, even better. The crab omelette has generous portions of crab, every bite fresh. The stir fried cabbage may look simple but is full of umami flavour. The coconut soup with fried gurami was creamy yet well balanced. And the crispy pork with garlic was tasty. Our waiter was so friendly he even took pictures of our food for us. Lol. Make the journey to this place, it's worth the detour.
My cousin recommended this to me as her number 1 place for Crab Omelette when she visited Bangkok so I made sure to bring my friends here! And after seeing this one was part of the Michelin Guide from 2022-2024, I pretty much already had high expectations. And to my surprise, I didn't expect the Crab Omelette to be that expensive 😭 I knew it was a popular Thai dish, especially that influencers and tourists kept recommending this place as well on social media. But honestly, it was just pretty mid for me 🙁 and I LOVE CRAB! AND I LOVE EGG! SO I WAS SUPPOSED TO LOVE IT! But yeah, it was meh. I found it to be really underwhelming, especially for the price. Yes, the serving was big, but I don't know. I still find it too pricey for its taste and size. But I found their Fried Garlic Pork to be much worth it though, and that was one of the best dishes we had during that meal. We also had the Fried Mantis Shrimp and it was really good too! Still pricey, but good. Overall, it was an okay meal but I think I can try looking for more Crab Omelette places and check for myself their distinct difference with each other. Might change my opinion when I come back for the 2nd time, who knows? 🤷🏻♀️
Came to this highly recommended restaurant to try their signature crab meat omelette and crab meat fried rice. Compared with similar dishes from other Michelin-recognized eateries, the prices here are slightly more affordable. In terms of taste, I would rate the crab meat omelette 5/5 — perfectly cooked, packed with crab meat, and absolutely delicious. The crab meat fried rice earns a solid 4.5/5. It was very good, though it could be even better with the use of a more fragrant, higher-quality rice variety. KH Guide & Rating * Accessibility: 3/5 (slightly hidden location with limited nearby parking) * Cleanliness: 4/5 * Ambience: 4/5 (air-conditioned, bright, and complemented by soft background music) * Food Quality: 4.5/5 * Pricing: 4/5 * Attentiveness: 5/5 (excellent and highly attentive service) Would Visit Again: Yes
I finally made it to Nhong Rim Klong in the Ekkamai area, and it easily lived up to the hype. Every single dish is packed with an insane amount of chunky, fresh crab meat—you aren't going to spend time digging around to find it. The soft-cooked crab omelette is a must-order. It’s thick, creamy, and bursting with flavor. I also highly recommend the Stir-Fried Spicy Chilli Sauce with Crab (Pad Kraprow) for a spicy, aromatic punch, and the cabbage with fish sauce which makes the perfect crunchy, savory side to balance the meal.Even though it’s a casual eatery, the service is incredibly efficient and the staff are welcoming. A quick tip: the portions here are very generous, so bring a small group of friends so you can share and try more items from the extensive menu!Getting there requires a quick car ride since it's not immediately next to a BTS station, but it is hands-down some of the best Thai street-style seafood you will find in Bangkok.
I had such a great experience at this restaurant during my recent trip to Thailand. Even though I came with a group of 7 people, we only waited around 15 minutes for a table, which was very impressive. The food was absolutely delicious and suited our taste perfectly. The prices were also very reasonable — we ordered a huge crab dish with so much fresh crab, and it only cost around 580,000 VND, which felt incredibly cheap for the quality and portion. I ordered the best dishes here, and I really love the flavor. What made the experience even better was the lovely staff. They were so friendly, welcoming, and even spoke Vietnamese, which made us feel very comfortable and appreciated. I’m truly grateful for their kindness and hospitality. Highly recommend this place if you visit Thailand!
