Saengchai Phochana

Opens to 3am! What a great spot for supper! Basically a porridge shop with many dishes to choose from. We had braised duck with blood curd - on the sweet side but still yummy to go with porridge. Fish porridge was alright. I would recommend to order their stir fried items. Spread across many units, even with air conditioned dinning area.

I came across Saengchai Pochana while searching for supper online. The curry crab immediately caught my attention, but I ended up swapping it for the curry prawns instead and it was worth it. Saengchai Pochana is not a Michelin-starred restaurant, but it has been listed in the Michelin Guide Bangkok, which highlights good food at reasonable prices rather than stars. You know it is a not a tourist spot when 95% of the patrons are locals, they sit and order right away, they know what they want, definitely regulars

A great spot for a late dinner or supper, especially since it's open into the early hours of the morning. We ordered the plum soup, deep-fried fish, and the cowslip creeper flower salad with assorted meats, and all three dishes were excellent. The salad was my favourite - fresh, flavourful, and unlike anything I'd tried before. The plum soup was also a pleasant surprise, with a delicious balance of tangy plum and savoury minced pork. One thing to note: the restaurant only accepts cash. If you find yourself short, there's a 7-Eleven across the road with an ATM, which came in handy for us!

One of the best meal i've had in BKK. We're a group of 4 and the total bill only 1320 baht. The price are so reasonable comparing to the quality and portion of the dishes. Oh we love the crab dish so much! We ask for little spicy and the food came out so so perfectly tasty & spicy the way made us wow !!!

Every time I pass through Thonglor, I always stop by this place 😊 Late-night Thai rice porridge spot with consistently delicious food. The restaurant has expanded and feels more comfortable now. Parking is available on the street (check the signs), or you can park at Soi 47. If coming by BTS Skytrain, get off at Thonglor station,just a short walk. Taking a Grab is even more convenient. A go-to spot with reliable quality. Highly recommended 👍
