A very local and authentic restaurant! Please note that the menu is only in Thai, but there are photos of all the dishes on the wall to make ordering easy. The fried chicken is super crispy, juicy, and hot! You can order directly or pick your own pieces right from the display. The Thai-style salad is also delicious, and you can request your preferred spice level.
I had flagged this place on maps after seeing a YouTube review. The restaurant was quite busy when I arrived just after midday on a Sunday and seemed to get busier whilst I was eating my food. Service was very prompt, there's a menu with English translation which is a big help. Make sure you're hungry when you go, I don't know what they feed the chickens in Thailand but the wings are the biggest I've ever seen! The chicken is absolutely delicious far nicer than most I've eaten in Thailand with a crispy outer coating, freshly fried at the front of the shop. I also had a papaya salad (somtam) which could have been spicier but taste was spot on. With sticky rice and a bottle of water the bill came to 192 THB which is great value for the amount of food served. If you want to eat delicious fried chicken then try here first, you won't be disappointed 😋
Pretty cool spot to try if you’re in the area. I think the fried chicken is good! A lot of locals and families come to dine in and even end up ordering take out after so the fried chicken must be worth it! Very friendly service and helpful even with the language barrier. ::)
Chicken was indeed very crispy, not greasy (a big plus) but flavour was dependent on the dipping sauce which was rather mediocre. Not much meat on the chicken pieces and would say that 20 THB for one chicken wing is on the steep side for Thailand as the place is not modern and does not offer air-conditioning, not particularly clean looking either. It is an old authentic type of local restaurant. You can order papaya salad tailored to suit your taste. I came here due to rave YouTube reviews about this place so had high expectations, but I would say it is not the best crispy fried chicken I have ever eaten due to meagre flesh on the chicken pieces and lacking flavour. Essentially it's plain bony, flavourless but very crispy chicken.
My favorite to-go during lunch break with my friends. Ed Sheeran came here, so that makes me very tempted to try, and god damn… I love the foods here ( if you like spicy ) it’s busy, but the food doesn’t take long to cook, and the price is reasonable
