Loved the vibe and service of this place. We came here on our way to Wat Arun on a scorching sunny day and had a good break here. The menu had limited items but it was a quick service and taste was good. Especially loved the service from the host and the waiters/waitress. Special mention to the ice pack that they provide after the bill to take it with you to help you with tge heat. They also provide these cool ice bowls to help cool yourself down. I really loved it! Thank you. And the ambience was good, it had a cozy decor with plants hanging around adding to the aesthetics of the place.
I visited Pad Thai Kratong Thong by Ama just before going to Wat Pho, and I absolutely don’t regret my choice! The food was incredible. The schrimp pad thai was flavorful and perfectly seasoned, and their mango sticky rice was simply delicious. Everything tasted fresh and carefully prepared. The service was also excellent. The man who welcomed us was extremely kind - he even showed me how to properly eat pad thai, which I really appreciated. The only small downside was the wait. We arrived around 12:30 PM and had to wait about 20 minutes. But honestly, it was definitely worth it. Once seated, the service was quick and efficient, and despite the restaurant being busy, we never felt rushed to leave, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I’m truly not disappointed and would have loved to go back again!
This place was very cozy with vintage feel. The food was good and tasty especially the mango sticky rice. The boss was very friendly and approachable and gave me a complimentary water bottle. Will return if I go bangkok again.
I ordered the Green curry fried rice with salted egg and honey pork, and thai milk tea. Both were good. Service was great. The servers asks you for your spice preference. The place is not air conditioned but the ventilation is good. The servers give you a metal bowl of ice for you to cool down your arms and before going out they also give you a plastic bag of ice.
Small place and authentic, so don't expect closed up aircon environment. The deep fried pork shoulder is hard and too tough to chew on. The pad thai is average, using thai style thin hor fun noodles. The Thai milk tea, with milk and with lemon - both taste good. The tomyam
