Samyan Market

Cozy and nice little market, everything fresh, and the atmosphere is much better than in the supermarket.

A simple market that’s a bit out of the way but worth visiting especially for breakfast if you’re in the area. The market is surrounded by a big parking lot so it’s fine if you arrive by car. The inside area is filled with fresh meat, fish, vegetables, fruits and such. The outside has already prepared food stalls, tables to eat at, small restaurants, and flower shops and such. I got papaya salad here and noticed the price was a bit higher so I’m assuming a decent amount of tourists pass by.

We visited this market bc at google review, ppl posted many restaurants or places to eat. But when we arrived, not so many choices, most of the restaurants on the 2nd floor were closed. And there was a pipe installation or something downstair near food stall so kinda smelly. So we decided to eat at 1 of the open restaurant upsatair. For 3 dishes, it cost around 590baht. But, if looking for snacks or fruits or veggies, this market is worth visiting. But for restaurants, better come after lunch time or go to the nearby mall, Samyan Mitrtown. But we like Samyan market due to the freshness of the produce, and also we can just walk to Samyan Mitrtown. So can do it for half day sight seeing. Not many tourists but definitely packed with locals. We believe there's school nearby. Too bad we are busy shopping and forgot to take pictures more of the market.

Clean and great market I love the soya milk drink Aim Aroi ! The fish stalls do not have fishy smell, very tidy and orderly wet market.

This is a great municiple market located near the Samyan MRT. Filled with stands selling butchered meats, seafood, veggies and fruit - all fresh and well priced. This is not the best market for having a meal as there aren't a lot of options and it is not the focus here. Having said that, you can get chicken skewers, curries, pad kra Pao, and more if you're feeling peckish.
