An Awesome Experience at Menya NOBUNAGA! "We tried Menya NOBUNAGA as the first stop on our trip to Japan from Texas, and it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was served hot, fresh, and incredibly fast, with beautiful presentation to match. The highlights were definitely the flavorful broth and the tender chicken. We came in with a large group of 10, and every single person was thrilled with their meal. The portions were more than generous—almost everyone cleared their bowls completely, and only one person ended up needing a take-home box. The waitstaff was incredibly nice and accommodating to our large group. On top of everything, it was very reasonably priced, which makes it perfect for return visits. With so many different flavors on the menu left to try, I would definitely come back here again. A great place and an awesome overall experience!"
Best meal for a recovery day! The broth was so rich and flavorful. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. They speak English well at this restaurant. We ordered our food on the machine which made it super easy! We were served quickly and politely. Absolutely loved this ramen! It was delicious and hit the spot!
I was here a week ago. The high ratings brought me here as I was nearby exploring Tokyo for the first time. It was not too busy. You have to order using a big screen before you take a seat. International cards are accepted. I ordered the spicy waygu beef ramen. The wait time wasn't long at all. The presentation was great! It wasn't spicy (my tolerance is high) but very flavorful. The wagyu beef was very, very tender!!! The noodles tasted fresh. I added the "hot spice" seasoning they had and it made it spicy. I give it a 5/5! It definitely wasn't worth 9,500 yen though (didn't realize the conversion to USD till days later). Met the owner after my meal and he was quite friendly.
service was good, if not better than the food...which was already pretty dope. noods were thick and curly with a good amount of springiness and chew, even till the last slurp. too many times I've had ramen where the noods don't hold up as well late in the game...this was different. soup had that nice thick (but not overly thick) sticky collageny goodness and was not overly oily. would recommend if you're in the area for sure. eggs tho were overcooked and lost any gooeyness. chicken was good but not the most memorable part of the dish. lemon was a nice addition but really would have preferred a wedge instead of slices.
I had the Chicken Spicy Ramen at Nobunaga Ramen, and it was excellent. The chicken broth had the perfect balance of umami and richness, and the spice level was just right—not overpowering, but enough to add a nice kick. The price is very reasonable as well, just 1200 yen for the ramen and about 450 yen for the soda drinks. The marinated egg was good, though I would have liked it to be a little more gooey. That said, it may have continued cooking in the hot broth while I was taking my time enjoying the meal. The ordering process is simple, you place your order at the self-service machine near the entrance. It can feel a little intimidating at first, but there is an English-speaking staff member available to help if needed. I really enjoyed the cozy bar-style seating and the welcoming atmosphere. The cook was friendly and made the experience even better. Overall, a fantastic bowl of ramen, and I’m definitely looking forward to coming back again.
