Our first dinner in Tokyo set the bar high for the rest of our stay. The tempura was so light, fluffy and tasty. Really the best tempura we had during the whole trip. Every dish was amazing honestly, but our highlights were the mushroom and the shrimp cake. The chef was very welcoming and patient with us with our language barrier. The restaurant has only 6 seats, so be prepared to wait or make a reservation, if you're lucky you might find seating for walk-ins. There is no english menu, so using a translator is a must. Definitely worth going to! Almost want to gatekeep but i won't, we can't wait to go back.
Very cute place. Showed up at 18:00 on a Sunday and the place was empty. The chef informed with an English sign that there are only course meals and no English menu. Google translate camera proved useful and I took the basic meal for 8900 which was a bit more than enough for me. 2 shrimp, 2 veggies, 2 fish, 2 eal and another srimp on rice dish and I was full. Beer also helped. A bit expensive overall for a meal but worth it in my mind for this specific experience.
Delicious and light, amazingly light tempura. Friendly service. Limited English. Very small; 6 seats Highly recommend if you're in the area.
Open by a Japan Haut cuisine chef. They serve set menu tempura. There's bar seating for about 6 and a tatami room. The tempura was light and crispy since you are served as soon the tempura is done. They are just delicious. After this, I can't go back to regular tempura. They also have a good selection of sake and beer.
We went there with our 14 month old baby and they were incredibly kind and welcoming to our family. The most important part the food was absolutely delicious! I’ve never had tempura like that before. You should definitely try it when you’re in Tokyo 😊 I would happily go every week if I were living here!
