Absolutely delicious and a must-try! I visited in the early morning right after they opened (actually they were still preparing) and there was no queue at all (but soon many locals started coming in). It’s a simple, no-frills spot with a very warm local feel, the friendly grandma sitting at the front door greeted me as I walked in. I ordered their signature pork brain soup, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The broth looks clear but is incredibly flavorful, with a beautiful white pepper aroma that shines through. The pork brain is silky and creamy, while the crunchy fried taro balls, bouncy fish balls, tofu, and variety of intestines give it fantastic texture in every spoonful. It’s warm, hearty, and deeply satisfying — perfect comfort food. Best of all, the whole bowl was only 100 baht! Highly recommended if you’re in the area. Don’t miss this hidden gem!
Wow I was blown away by how delicious the soup is. The soup itself is mild but gives you a deep but subtle sweetness. I’m Cantonese and we love soup and this is beyond my expectation and I was genuinely impressed by it. The brain is creamy like tofu and no weird taste at all! All the offals are well cooked to a level of tenderness that I love! I add a half spoon of pickled chili to the soup, and then I make dipping sauce with chili flakes, fish sauce, and soy one! I would 100% recommend this to anyone!
This restaurant serves traditional Thai dishes, often using pork offal. The food tastes quite good, and the prices are reasonable. The space is small but pleasant, and the service is very friendly.
Lovely piggy brain and offal soup. The ingredients were properly prepared and cooked to the right texture. It was so good that I had a second serving in one seating. The friendly granny owner sits at the entrance and personally greets and bids farewell to every customer.
Quite a few Hakka yong tau fu shops in this neighbourhood. But this stall is absolutely the best. Fish balls, fried yam balls, fish paste tofu absolutely delicious. The soup also naturally brewed with stock and contains no MSG. We are from Singapore and we have a different version of this food. Did not try the pig brains, maybe next time. Friendly owners, you can just point to the items you wish to eat.
