Japanese restaurant which proposed different menu. We went to take a dessert and drink, the matchs was perfect, perfectly presented and tasty. Staff friendly, a great place to have a break while visiting the park, calm atmosphere.
Hot matcha is very nice (umami taste!) Warabimochi is also nice .. not too sweet
Matcha parfait seemed frozen, taken out from the fridge for 1100 yen. Iced sencha was so so. There is a better dessert-only cafe with a sitting area further down in the gyoen park. The ice cream and warabi mochi are much better there.
Quiet and relaxing teahouse within the Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden that has sushi and desserts. The staff here were very nice to move some tables together for our group of 5. I ordered the Inari Gozen set meal. The four pieces of inari sushi were delicious with really nice taste combinations with what they used as garnishes. We also got the fruit and mugwort daifuku, which were really tasty. I'm always wary of food places located within attractions but this one seemed pretty reasonably priced and we were all happy with our experience.
Beautiful tea rest spot. The capacity is 6 seats inside. There are more seats outside - ask for takeout if the inside is full
