In A Nutshell: -I discovered Aunty Piem's restaurant from my American buddy who lives in BKK. -He learned about it from a YouTuber who covers food history in the city. -This is how information spreads in real-time & I am glad I was able to come enjoy a hot bowl of dry noodles. -I chose the chicken, nam man noi style (less oil). -The niece & nephew (Pravit) were both working & Aunty Piem was close-by. -I really enjoyed the meal & I was informed that everything is original & hasn't changed much in the 50 years of being in business. -It was very nice to meet you Pravit, keep up your health & stay strong! 💪🏼 Overall, I appreciate authentic food like this amongst a local neighborhood close to the Grand Palace & a canal full of big fish.

Really enjoy noodles. It smells incredibly nice, my mouth watering right after I walked nearby the shop. The taste is magnificently delicious. They use charcoal instead of gas, which makes the taste and smell great. There are varieties of meats; pork, chicken, crispy pork or you can mix all of them. Chicken is so juicy 😋 The price is reasonable ~60-70 baht. Although the dining area is not fancy, it is still worth going.

I discovered this fried noodle stall through my Japanese friend. Their chicken fried noodles are delicious, with a wonderful smoky aroma from the charcoal wok cooking. You can choose from wide rice noodles (the standard option), thin rice noodles, vermicelli, or even order it as soup-less toppings only. The crispy pork lard is very tasty, and the dish is topped with roasted red pork as well. The chicken is tender, generously portioned, and well-marinated. Auntie Pia is also very kind and welcoming. It’s 60 baht per dish, or 70 baht for an extra-large portion, which is very reasonable for the quality and portion size.

Indo tourist in here! Found this place unexpectedly when strolling the area. Somehow the google review was pretty good and visited by many times. The place is a bit "hidden" inside an alley in the middle of city. The place is very quiet, no vehicles passing by even people are rarely seen in this area. Perfect place to enjoy a peaceful breakfast. Food: basically the noodle can be custom with different kind noodle they served. As toppings, we can choose between chicken and pork. Noodles also can be made as a soup or fried. Taste is very good, it really shows locals authentic food. Owners are very kind and open to foreigners even with language barrier. We can just use body language to order, they will understand. The price is quite cheap, 70 baht for all types. Portion is quite normal and enough for breakfast.

Try out stir-fried noodle preferably with grilled bbq pork (Moodeang) is the best ever. I’d say Aunty Pien stir-fried noodle should be ranking No.1 in Bangkok with the authentic taste. She also maintains the Thai original recipe by using brass wok and fired charcoal while stir-fried every single dish. Its little hard to find this place just walk through the small aisle by following google map navigator will help you to reach there.
