I really enjoyed the meat here at Buta-Daigaku Shimbashi, especially the rich soy sauce flavor. The portions felt generous for the price, which made the meal even better. It was an easy place to leave full and satisfied without spending too much, and I’d happily come back if I’m in the area again.
Great butadon place that serve grilled pork served on a bowl of rice with sauce. The pork is barbecued, dipped in their in house sauce then barbecued again. Nothing mind blowing but they are hearty and filling! You place order via a ticket machine. You can order the butadon in three sizes: S, M and L. You can also add extra meat (100g), sides and drinks. You can also order butadon to take away.
Absolutely fantastic meat cooked in soy sauce. The portions were generous and affordable- between 1000-1400¥. There are always people but the line moves very fast, I waited no more than 5 minutes. I will definitely visit again. They do takeout too, if I lived in the area I’d definitely buy this twice a month.
Quick, simple, and delicious! I went with the spicy scallion pork bowl, but I’d recommend just going with the standard 豚丼! The miso soup and kimchi are a nice addition 👌🏽
If you love saucy slices of greasy grilled pork, you're gonna love it here. It's not going to win any awards for quality, refinement, or atmosphere, but you will get exactly what you expect. The pork is oily and crispy at the edges, drowned in sweet tare sauce, over a heaping bowl of rice. I ordered the Large (1200¥) and added extra 100g of pork for 500¥, though honestly, the bowl itself was enough.
